Guard Lactoferrin Baby Formula

Guard is Bellamy's Organic's lactoferrin-fortified formula, developed for children who may need extra nutritional support. Alongside naturally occurring lactoferrin, it includes organic prebiotics (GOS and FOS) and probiotic BB-12®. Every tin is dual-certified organic and made in Australia. Lactoferrin-Enriched Organic Formula, Made in Australia

Bellamy's Organic Guard is enriched with lactoferrin and essential nutrition for children, including organic prebiotics (GOS and FOS) and probiotic BB-12®. Each tin is made in Australia from organic milk sourced from cows raised on pastures with no synthetic pesticides or synthetic fertilisers, and without the use of antibiotics, growth hormones or GMO ingredients.

Guard is available in three steps.

  • Step 1 Infant Formula is formulated to meet the nutritional needs for children from birth to 6 months of age.
  • Step 2 Follow-On Formula is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of children aged 6 to 12 months, which complements the introduction of solids.
  • Step 3 Toddler Milk Drink is formulated for children aged 1 to 3 years of age, specially formulated for children who cannot meet their nutritional requirements due to a medical condition. It is a food for special medical purposes; please use it under medical supervision.

Guard comes in three steps: Step 1 for birth to 6 months, Step 2 from 6 to 12 months, and Step 3 for 1 to 3 years.

Guard Step 3 is a food for special medical purposes; please use under medical supervision.

We recommend switching gradually when changing formula. Replace one type of feed at a time and monitor your baby's digestion for 2 to 3 days before completely transitioning to the new formula.

A full transition typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. Avoid switching formulas if your baby is unwell and wait 7 to 10 days after any vaccinations before making the change. If you notice any signs of discomfort, consult a healthcare professional.

Guard is fortified with lactoferrin, alongside organic prebiotics (GOS and FOS) and probiotic BB-12®. Classic is our original formula, built on our dual organic prebiotic blend of organic GOS and organic FOS, plus key vitamins and minerals as the foundation of early nutrition.
