Three Ingredient Purees


Purees are important for babies to develop their taste buds. The below are quick, easy DIY recipes which mean your baby can experience a range of purees with no processed nasties or added sugar. Carrot Puree
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 cup sweet potato, chopped
  • ½ cup kale
Spinach Puree
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 cup pumpkin, chopped
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
Zucchini Puree
  • 1 zucchini, chopped
  • 1 cup sweet potato, chopped
  • ½ avocado
Pea Puree
  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup pumpkin, chopped
  • ½ cup peas


  1. Boil, steam or roast your chosen vegetable combination until cooked through.
  2. Add the warm, cooked vegetables to a food processor and process until smooth and pureed.
  3. Ensure the puree has cooled to a suitable temperature for your baby.
  4. Serve, and watch them enjoy!
