Homemade Ginger Cordial

Ginger works as a herbal remedy and can help to settle nausea in pregnant women.


  • One whole ginger root, crushed
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Cold mineral water


  1. Add ginger and water to a small-medium saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes.
  2. Strain liquid into a jug then add honey and mix with a spoon.
  3. Refrigerate and use this as a cordial with mineral water.
